Controller. DevBid.lol is responsible for the personal data described here. Contact: hello@devbid.lol.

What we store. Your public developer listing (display name, headline, avatar URL, portfolio URL and optional country), bid amount and status, and the email associated with Stripe Checkout. Your email is not displayed publicly.

Why we use it. We process listing, bid and payment data to provide the service you purchase. We process security, moderation, click and service-usage data for our legitimate interests in operating DevBid safely, preventing abuse and showing real statistics.

Payments and providers. Stripe processes payments and may receive transactional, contact, device and fraud-prevention data. We do not receive or store full card details. Our hosting and database providers process data only as needed to run DevBid. We do not sell personal data.

Click tracking. When a portfolio link is opened, the server briefly uses the IP address and user agent to create a pseudonymous hash. We store that hash, the listing, its rank at the time of the click, the referrer and timestamp. Lifetime totals are kept for both the developer listing and the occupied rank; they do not reset daily. Redis keeps anti-abuse click keys for about 30 minutes.

Presence. We use an anonymous browser session ID and Redis to estimate live viewers. Presence entries expire after about 75 seconds; the browser ID remains on your device until you clear site data.

Retention. Public listings remain until disabled or a valid deletion request is completed. Bid and payment records may be retained as required for accounting, fraud prevention and legal obligations. Click records remain while we maintain the listing's lifetime statistics. Server logs are retained only as operationally necessary.

International processing. Stripe and infrastructure providers may process data outside your country under the safeguards applicable to their services.

Your rights. Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of your personal data, and lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority. Some records may need to be retained by law. Contact us to exercise these rights or disable a listing.
